Estos moldes o utillajes permiten transformar materiales compuestos de fibra de carbono, vidrio, etc.<br \/>\nPara ello se ha desarrollado una estrategia espec\u00edfica de molde, as\u00ed como un <strong>Innovador Recubrimiento Exterior<\/strong> en las superficies de moldeo del utillaje, que permite la transformaci\u00f3n de estos materiales compuestos.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nEn el desarrollo de piezas o componentes de materiales compuestos es necesario <strong>verificar<\/strong> los estudios te\u00f3ricos con los ensayos reales, para ello se deben realizar <strong>prototipos<\/strong> que permitan validar variables como tipos de fibras, orientaci\u00f3n de fibras, n\u00fameros de capas, refuerzo locales, etc., antes de la realizaci\u00f3n de los Moldes Finales.<br \/>\nEl <strong>coste y plazo<\/strong> de las tecnolog\u00edas actuales de construcci\u00f3n de moldes en muchos casos No permiten pasar por estas etapas de verificaci\u00f3n. Mediante la tecnolog\u00eda de moldes de impresi\u00f3n 3D desarrollada por iGestek se reducen significativamente tanto los plazos como el precio de los moldes para la realizaci\u00f3n de estos prototipos.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nPor ejemplo, en un plazo de 3 d\u00edas naturales podemos dise\u00f1ar y construir un molde de dimensiones 300x250x200mm. Este molde constar\u00eda de macho y cavidad y permite su <strong>transformaci\u00f3n en prensa<\/strong> para obtener prototipos de material compuesto laminado. El proceso de consolidado y curado de estos prototipos se realiza en el ciclo de prensado.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nEn cuanto a los Precios de estos moldes de impresi\u00f3n 3D pueden alcanzar diferencias de entre 5 y 10 veces menor que los realizados por m\u00e9todos convencionales.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nEs de remarcar que se pueden realizar moldes con las dimensiones que se deseen para Prototipos o Series Cortas. iGestek ya ha desarrollado proyectos con esta tecnolog\u00eda de molde de impresi\u00f3n 3D, cuyos resultados se han <strong>presentado con \u00e9xito dentro del sector de automoci\u00f3n<\/strong> a OEMs como el Grupo VW, o PSA.
