iGestek has developed for the León Cup Racer of Seat Sport a Rear Fender made of thermoplastic composite with Bond Laminates material (TEPEX® Dynalite 102-RG600 / 45%). This material is composed of a matrix of polyamide (PA6) and a fiberglass reinforcement. With the development of this part we could validate contractions and deformations of the material for large parts, as well as bonding methods between composites and the assembly to the vehicle (fixings and matching).
