iGestek, after being present at the leading industrial fair in Europe: Hannover Messe 2022 with 4 components selected to represent the development of the Customer Success Story “Generative Design Car Component on the Form 3L", together with Formlabs, (within the area of Autodesk), they took the flight to appear at the long-awaited BIEMH, in our home.

WE APPLY GENERATIVE DESIGN TO VEHICLE SUSPENSION

We have developed a Suspension Shock Absorber Support (Top Mount) for Premium vehicles that is 40% lighter than current ones. This shock absorber support has been conceived and materialized thanks to Generative Design together with the hybridization of different technologies and materials.

Z–WasTEK. PROGRAM HAZITEK 2020

Gestek participates in Z-WasTEK Project whose mission is the industrial research of new technologies to obtain repairable, recyclable, and sustainable 3R composites based on revalued carbon fiber.

iGestek has developed a new process of transformation of composite thermoplastic materials, to obtain 3D Sandwich Structures with a cycle time less than 1 minute (One Shot).

We’ve been very active for the last 10 years in the field of Research and Development. In 2020 we have obtained the Certification of Innovative SME by the Ministry of Science and Innovation, this recognition has a national and European scope.

TECHNICAL CONFERENCE: ADVANCED COMPOSITES IN AUTOMOTIVE SECTOR

iGestek will be participating in the Technical Conference of Composites in Automotive organized by AIMPLAS and IK4-CIDETEK, with the collaboration of the Society of Automotive Technicians (STA), which will be held on June 16th at the Museum of Sciences of San Sebastian.

Ekhum Wall’s Project uses the inside retaining wall of La Salve Bridge, which is part of the architectural space of the Bilbao Guggenheim Museum, to develop a new means of communication, at street level, which gets integrated with the surrounding urban environment and lives the daily life of the city.

CARBON FIBER IN PRODUCTION VEHICLE

In 2016 goes on sale the first production vehicle that incorporates carbon fiber as part of its structure. The chassis of the BMW 7-Series will consist of what the German brand called Carbon Core.
