New Technologies ZERO WASTE to obtain sustainable and competitive carbon fiber composites
iGestek participates in Z-WasTEK Project whose mission is the industrial research of new technologies to obtain repairable, recyclable, and sustainable 3R composites based on revalued carbon fiber.
The Project focuses its innovation on the development and optimization of competitive repair processes, revaluation processes of raw materials from production waste, and the development of more sustainable and competitive composite products based on revalued high quality carbon fiber.
This project has been supported by the Basque Government through the Support Program for R&D Business – HAZITEK, and co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). It is a collaborative project with a budget of € 2.4M and a duration of three years (2020-2022).
