The ULTRALI Research and Development project is advancing at a good pace in its second year. Since 2017 iGestek participates in the development of a project focused on the creation of new BiW automotive products with new materials and dissimilar unions, as well as new production processes. It is a collaborative project with a budget of € 4.7 million and a duration of three years.

This project has been supported by the Basque Government through the Support Program for R & D Business – Hazitek, and co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

The project plans to reach its objectives by the end of 2019, the achievement of which will contribute to the global strategy of obtaining lighter vehicles to reduce the energy consumption, and consequently reduce the environmental impact produced by road transport.
